Aug 4 - Darling Harbour, Bowling and Fish Market (2)

Today we went to play bowling and went to Fish Market. When we arrived at the bowling lanes, we had to change the bowling shoes before we could start bowling. I enjoyed to play bowling there. And I had got 42 marks today, yo ho!

After we had played bowling, we went to the fish market. We bought a lot of food there, such as oysters, scallops and lobsters. They were very delicious and I ate too much there.

I think when you come to Sydney, you have to go to the fish market.

Aug 4 - Darling Harbour, Bowling and FIsh Market

In the afternoon, we went to Darling Harbour. We could see the yachts on the water. Then, we went to play bowling. I had never played bowling before, so I got zero mark from the first round to the third round, but I could hit bowling pins after some practice.

After that, we went to the fish market. We bought plenty of seafood, for example, fresh oysters, sea urchins, baked scallops with cheese, lobster, eel and fried squid rings. I thought the sea urchins impressed me most because it was really juicy and sweet and this was my first time to eat sea urchins.

I think Australian food is really delicious and fresh. I think this is because Australians protect their food -- you can't bring any food when you come to Australia, so the produce of this country will not be contaminated. I hope I will come to Australia with my family and go to the fish market again!

Aug 3 - Paddy's Market (2)

Today we went to the China Town and Paddy's Market in Sydney. They're not far away from our school, so we walked there.

Along the sides of the road, there were a lot of different buildings with different designs and colours. I think it is one of the different things between Hong Kong and Sydney. There are a lot of buildings in Hong Kong but most of them are in the same pattern and design. However, there are a lot of buildings with different designs in Sydney Also, some of them are very vintage like they're some historic architectures.

When we arrived in China Town, we walked around there. I think going to China Towns in different countries is very interesting as we can see Hong Kong and Chinese food there and we can try if they taste like those we eat in Hong Kong or China. The China Town in Sydney was quite big, and there were a lot of restaurants and shops which served Chinese cuisines. We tried some of them and their tastes were surprisingly delicious, even out of my expectations!

After that,we went to the Paddy's Market and it was like the Ladies Street in Hong Kong. There were a lot of cheap goods for us to buy like clothes, handbags and souvenirs. Compared to those shops in the malls, they were very very cheap but the goods were quite good. I really appreciated it.

Aug 3 - Paddy's Market

Today we went to China Town and Paddy's Market. There were a lot of Chinese and Hong Kong goods in China Town. For food, there were foods like Singaporean noodles, fried rice in Yang Zhou style.
In Paddy's Market, it provided a lot of cheap goods but with good quality. If you want to buy souvenir for your family or friends, you can visit there. For me, I bought a good looking boomerang just for A$5. It really worthed, indeed.
I highly recommend you guys to visit these two places in Central, Sydney.
