July 31 - Sydney Tower

After a rest on Sundaywe stored enough energy and got ready for the English lessons. And today was unusualwe played some games in the lessons. The games did not only let me learn more vocabularybut also improved my usage of grammar. I felt excited and delighted. Our team won the game in the end. It gave me a good memory. After a delicious lunchwe went to the Sydney Tower. It was very tall. We could watch the panoramic view there. Unfortunatelythe weather was not good. We could not see the view clearlyI felt a bit disappointed. Therefore I hope that if I go to the Sydney Tower in the future, I can see this beautiful city clearly. In a nutshellalthough the weather was not good todayI think that I had a fruitful trip. I enjoyed very much!

July 30 - It's Sunday! (2)

Today was our family day. We went to Sydney Market with host mum and her children. Her son was very excited because in this market, there were many things for us to buy, such us food, clothes, daily supplies, and animals. We could find whatever we wanted to buy in this market. This market is like the flower market in Lunar New Year in Hong Kong.

July 30 - It's Sunday!

It's a casual day and we woke up at 9a.m. After we ate our lunch, we went bowling at 5p.m. That's the second time I played bowling, and we played two rounds that I played with Tony and a Japanese who stayed in our house. In the second round, I got two bingos and I had a lot of fun in bowling. It’s an incredible day!

July 29 Featherdale Wildlife Park and Blue Mountains

I had a good lesson on today.
First, we went to Featherdale Wild Park and there were many animals "welcoming" us. When we went inside, we saw a baby kangaroo. It was particularly cute! We were so lucky because we could take photos with a koala at a close distance. It was an unforgettable experience.
Next we went to the Blue Mountains. I thought we would go there by car, however, we had to walk! We were so tired. And we hiked for an hour and 30 minutes. Finally we arrived at one of the highest parts of the mountains. When we saw the beautiful scenery, we forgot our tiredness. Also I understood what "No Pain No Gain" was.

July 28 Sydney University

It was the fifth day we stayed in the Australia today. As usual, we had a great English lesson this morning and I really benefited a great deal.
After that, we went to The University of Sydney in the afternoon. The exterior appearance of the University was so gorgeous and elegant and we took a lot of photos there. The young man who guided us said that this school was the number 1 university in Australia and the 4th in the world. This was my pleasure that I could visit this well-known university!

July 27 - Royal Botanic Garden and Hyde Park

Today we went to the Hyde Park and Botanic Garden.First we took a train to Opera House and walked to Botanic Garden from there. It was so beautiful. There were many trees, many birds, also there were many people. While we were walking there, we could see the beautiful view. We took a lot of photos.

After that,we went to the Hyde Park. We could see a fountain there. There was a man on the top. Then we went to the church. The church was totally not the same as that in Hong Kong. It was very big and beautiful!!!! Finally, we went to the Central of Sydney, There it was just like a small Causeway Bay: so many shops and people. I bought a salmon sandwich which had a lot of salmon inside and very delicious.😋

July 25 - Bondi Beach

Australia Trip 2017
Hello ! Everyone. Yesterday was our first day to go to Sydney College of English so we felt very nervous. Moreover, we felt so tired because the aircraft delayed 14 hours so that's not good. However,We still work hard to learn English though we are so weary. Also, the teacher is so nice and helpful.

This afternoon we went to Bondi Beach. It was a wonderful beach so I thought it was very fantastic and we took a lot of photos.

All in all, the host family was also very amiable so I like them.

Departure: 14 hours delay!

The first day of this trip was a poor day. The flight was delayed because of the typhoon and the technical problems with the airplane, which needed to repair in a rush. For all these problems, it delayed 14 hours. In these 14 hours, we walked, ate and slept. We didn't have anything to do. But I was not bored. I played with my friends in this long wait. Although we had a delay and this was just like a poor day, I think this is a nice memory too.

This was a terrible experience. That day, we should have our flight on 20:15, but it was delayed. So it was changed to 02:00. And then we went onto the airplane and we felt very excited. However, our flight didn't start to take off and we waited for almost 5 hours. We didn't know why the airplane didn't depart on time. At last we knew that it was because of some technical problems. Just then, they asked us to go out and have breakfast and go back to the airplane at 08:45. Finally, our plane took off at around 10:15. It was delayed for 15 hours! We were very tired and disappointed. We had a terrible experience for our first day of our trip.
